PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support system for preventing a failure to check items for repair, which prevents the failure to modify the items by efficiently checking them in program modification. SOLUTION: The support system for preventing the failure to check items to be modified provides support to prevent the failure to check items to be modified by extracting items to be modified in a program from items requested to be corrected in the program on a computer. The system includes a row number giving part 1a for giving row numbers to the program to be modified; a designated item input part 11 for designating the items to be modified and designating a master folder of each storage part; a DB item extracting part 12 for extracting DB items from the designated items to be modified; an IF item extracting part 14 for extracting IF items from either the results of DB item extraction or the items to be modified that are designated by the designated item input part 11; a correction target extracting part 16 for extracting the corresponding program from the results of DB item extraction or the result of IF item extraction; and a correction target output part 18 for outputting the result of correction target extraction.
