PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-supporting foldable cuplike container which maintains its flat shape when not used and causes an opening to widen sufficiently when used. SOLUTION: An outside sheet O has pasting portions 1 and 1, side walls 3 and 3, and a fold 20. The side walls 3 and 3 are so shaped that their lateral length becomes greater as they extend vertically outward. The fold 20 has a bottom face 4 at the lateral center, and supports 6 and 6 projecting laterally outward from the bottom face 4. When the container is not used, the fold 20 is folded superposably into a flat shape between the side walls 3 and 3. When the container is used, the side walls 3 and 3 are curved or bent to make the bottom face and the opening into an almost circular shapes in a plan view. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
