摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection head for applying ink efficiently while restraining dimensional increase of the liquid ejection head in the length direction of a nozzle array. SOLUTION: The liquid droplet ejection head comprises a nozzle plate 2 on which nozzle arrays 2a-2d are formed, a cavity plate 6 in which a pressure chamber 61 is formed, and a first manifold plate 4 and a second manifold plate 3 provided, respectively, with first common ink chambers 4a'-4d' and second common ink chambers 3a'-3d' communicating with the pressure chamber 61. Ink supply ports 7a-7d are formed to penetrate in the laminating direction from the cavity plate 6 to the second manifold plate 3 for every ink in the direction intersecting a pressure chamber array perpendicularly (array direction of the nozzle arrays 2a-2d) in the plan view. A plurality of passages 32a-32d connecting the second common ink chambers 3a'-3d' with the ink supply ports 7a-7d, respectively, are formed in the second manifold plate 3 to extend in the perpendicularly intersecting direction in a recessed shape opened to the opposite side of the first manifold plate 4.
