PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling the temperature in an electromagnetic vibration casting and an electromagnetic vibration casting apparatus. SOLUTION: In the electromagnetic vibration casting method for generating fine crystallized material by cooling-solidifying while giving the electromagnetic vibration to molten metal material; this temperature control method and this electromagnetic vibration casting apparatus, are performed as the followings. that is; a temperature controlling pattern at the electromagnetic casting time, is raised up to the high temperature of 50-500°C over the melting point of the metal material, and controlled so as to start to the impression of the electromagnetic vibration at this maximum temperature. Without depending on the composition and the kind of this material, the temperature control technique in the electromagnetic vibration casting, in which the fining of the crystals in the metal material can be obtained, can be provided.
