The invention relates to a wood impregnation method, in which emulsion is absorbed into the wood by means of pressure difference. The emulsion contains an alkyd binder, an emulgator and water, but does not substantially contain a biocidally acting wood preservative. With this method, which protects the wood in a physical manner, the dimensional stability and the water repulsion of the wood can be improved. In addition, a good biological durability is achieved. |
