摘要 |
PURPOSE:To obtain a synthetic resin mirror which permits the decrease in the degree of curving of a main mirror body according to ambient temp. as far as possible by executing a stage for forming many pinholes by vacuum arc discharge to a reflection film in succession to a stage for forming a metallic antireflection film on the rear side of the main mirror body made of an acrylic resin. CONSTITUTION:The metallic reflection film 3 is formed on the rear side of the main mirror body 1 made of the transparent acrylic resin. The many pinholes are then formed by the vacuum arc discharge to the film 3. As a result, the water absorption and dehydration on the rear side of the body 1 are effected via the pinholes and therefore the unbalance in the total quantity of the water absorption and dehydration between the front side and rear side of the body 1 according to the change of the ambient temp. as in the conventional practice is obviated. The curving of the body 1 and the distortion of the reflection image are eventually obviated. |
