<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image synthesizing device, a photographing device, an image synthesizing method, and an image synthesizing program that can make a level difference in lightness of a synthesizing image inconspicuous. <P>SOLUTION: When a pixel value of a pixel of a second image file is larger than a pixel value of a pixel of a first image file (104: Y), the value obtained by adding the pixel value of the pixel of the first image file to the value obtained by multiplying the pixel value of the pixel of the second image file by a predetermined weight coefficient is used as a pixel value of a pixel for forming a synthesizing image without exceeding a specified value (106). When the pixel value of the pixel of the second image file is not larger than the pixel value of the pixel of the first image file (104: N), the pixel value of the pixel of the first image file is used as a pixel value of a pixel for forming a synthesizing image (108).
