<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric ceramic composition which is composed of a multiple oxide of a lead-free perovskite structure, a piezoelectric ceramic composition having satisfactory piezoelectric characteristics, a method for producing the piezoelectric ceramic composition, and piezoelectric ceramic components. <P>SOLUTION: The piezoelectric ceramic composition is composed of the multiple oxide of a perovskite type expressed by general formula ABO<SB>3</SB>as a principal component, in which A in the general formula is one or two or more kinds of elements selected from Bi, Na, K and Ba, B in the general formula is Ti, and a part of B (=Ti) in the general formula is substituted by pentavalent element M(V) and more preferably, the ratio x of the substitution is specified to 0.005≤x≤0.040. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
