METHOD FOR ELIMINATING FEED-CONTAMINATING MYCOTOXIN THROUGH IRRADIATION WITH ULTRAVIOLET RAY, AND APPARATUS FOR ELIMINATING MYCOTOXIN THROUGH IRRADIATION WITH ULTRAVIOLET RAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for eliminating mycotoxin through irradiation with ultraviolet ray, which comprises means for efficiently eliminating mycotoxin in feed.

SOLUTION: The apparatus for eliminating mycotoxin 1 includes a cylindrical container 3 for housing feed 2, and an ultraviolet irradiating device 4 disposed so as to irradiate the inside of the cylindrical container 3 with ultraviolet rays. The ultraviolet irradiating device 4 has a concave-surface reflection board 6 having a rotary paraboloidal reflection surface 5, and an ultraviolet light source 7 disposed on the focal spot of the paraboloid. Ultraviolet lights from the ultraviolet light source 7 are reflected by the concave-surface reflection board 6 to be oriented in one direction, and reaches the feed 2 in the cylindrical container as parallel ultraviolet lights 8.
