<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting position control apparatus which enables automatic correction of a slippage of the sheet cutting position occurring in a fold section, without initial adjustment of the position. <P>SOLUTION: The cutting position control apparatus has a CCD camera 10 which is disposed on the downstream side of a folding part of a web offset printing press and picks up an image of a sheet cutting register mark on the fold section, an image processing means 13 which takes an image of the fold section delivered from the folding part, by the CCD camera 10, and determines a measured value of the length from the folding end of the fold section to the sheet cutting register mark, and a control means 14 which calculates the slippage of the sheet cutting position occurring in the fold section from a difference between a reference value of the measured value and the measured value determined from the image of the fold section and controls a sheet cutting position correcting mechanism of the web offset printing press on the basis of the slippage of the sheet cutting position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
