<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine identity with low-quality biometric information with high precision. <P>SOLUTION: The collation device 100 is provided with a biometric information input part 110 inputting biometric information of a user, a storage part 140 storing collation information for comparison with biometric information and a threshold value in association with each other for each registered person, a similarity generation part 132 generating similarity between the biometric information inputted by the biometric information input part 110 and the collation information stored in the storage part 140, a collation part 133 determining identity by comparing the similarity generated by the similarity generation part 132 with the threshold value stored in the storage part 140, and a threshold value update part 135 updating the threshold value stored in the storage part 140 so as to prevent a registrant determined as an authentic candidate from being determined as the authentic candidate by the collation part 133 when the registrant is determined as the authentic candidate by the collation part 133. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
