POSITION DETECTION SYSTEM USING IC TAG

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position detection technique capable of minimizing the arranging intervals of antennas and measuring positions with high resolution in a system for communicating with IC tags and measuring their positions.

SOLUTION: A position detection system is provided with an antenna module in which a plurality of antennas for receiving response radio waves, a response of IC tags when radio waves for detection are transmitted, and detects the positions of the IC tags on the basis of the state of reception of the response radio waves of each antenna. The plurality of antennas are aligned and arranged on induction interference preventing plates each having a V-shaped cross section at a tilt angle from a horizontal plane in which a magnetic substance is pasted to their surfaces. An induction interference preventing wall has a wedge-shaped cross section having a prescribed number of stepped sections, and a magnetic substance is pasted to their surfaces. The tips of the wedge shapes are fixed between the antennas of the induction interference preventing plates. A plurality of rows of the induction interference preventing walls are aligned and arranged to constitute the antenna module.
