<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit voice data improving a compression ratio by predicting and encoding voice signals of a multi-channel. <P>SOLUTION: An addition circuit 1a calculates a sum signal (L+R) of stereo 2-channel signals L, R, and a subtraction circuit 1b calculates a difference signal (L-R). A voice encoding method calculates differences between present and previous calculationsΔ(L+R),Δ(L-R) with differential arithmetic circuits 11D1, 11D2, calculates a plurality of prediction values of the differencesΔ(L+R),Δ(L-R) with prediction encoding circuits (15D1, 15D2, 16D1, 16D2), calculates each prediction residual difference of the plurality of the prediction values and the differencesΔ(L+R),Δ(L-R), packets prediction encoding data by selecting the minimum prediction residual differences, and thereafter transmits it through a prescribed communication line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
