MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND MOBILE COMMUNICATION PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication system improved in processing efficiency in an entire network by allowing an entire mobile communication network to cope with mobility.

SOLUTION: The mobile communication system for transferring packets on an IP network has: a means for establishing a first tunnel between a first current edge router storing a first terminal that is a packet transmission source and a home edge router storing an IP address acquired by a second terminal that is a packet reception source; a means for establishing a second tunnel between a second current edge router storing the second terminal currently and the home edge router; and a means for reestablishing the first tunnel between the first and second current edge routers, when the first and second tunnels are established and the packet is transferred from the first terminal to the second one via the first and second tunnels.
