PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal wherein a plurality of noise sources exist, which provides a stable reception sensitivity in whatever operation mode, in any physical state, at any supply voltage, and in an ambient environment. SOLUTION: Based on a use state of the mobile terminal 201 detected by a state detecting portion 1, a control portion 3 of the mobile terminal 201 reads in a corresponding profile from a memory portion 2. According to the read-in profile, a noise sensor portion 100 is selected by a noise-canceling portion 150, and noise is captured by the noise sensor portion 100. Then, the noise being assumed to interfere with a desired signal is generated from the captured noise, and by taking the difference between the generated noise and noise which actually has interfered with the desired noise, only the desired wave is extracted.
