PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further introduce a substituent into theαposition on a side introduced with the substituent of a cyclic nitrogen compound substituted in theαposition. SOLUTION: The method for producingα,α-di-substituted cyclic nitrogen-containing compound in which nitrogen is protected with a cyano group by subjecting theα-substituted cyclic nitrogen-containing compound in which the nitrogen is protected by the cyano group to electrode oxidation in an organic solvent.
