PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side part vehicle body structure for an automobile capable of suppressing deformation of a vehicle body inner face member in a portion to which a striker is fixed, in the side part vehicle body structure for the automobile provided with a quarter window arranged in a vehicle body side part upper part in the rear of a center pillar, an opening part arranged in the vehicle body inner face member constituting a vehicle body side part inner face below the quarter window, and the portion in the rear of an upper part of the opening part of the vehicle body inner face member to which the striker engaged with a latch provided in a side part of a seat back to lock the seat back in an erecting state is fixed. SOLUTION: The upper portion of the opening part 13 of the vehicle body inner face member 12 comprises a beltline reinforcement 28, and a reinforcement member 51 is mounted on the portion of the vehicle body inner face member 12 to which the striker 42 is fixed.
