PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a lighting system irradiating around a step function as the so-called cornering lamp without obstructing an original function of a step arranged at a vehicle side portion for getting on/off in a vehicle cabin, even with a simple and inexpensive structure, to expand an irradiation range as the cornering lamp by effectively using light irradiated from the lighting system; to improve visibility at turning to the right side and the left side; and to materialize further high safety. SOLUTION: A mirror 10 reflecting a luminous flux, received by a side wall 4 of the step 2 when a light-emitting unit 1 emits and irradiates light in turning to the right side and the left side, to a part near a front wheel or to a slanting rear side is arranged. A mirror 20 reflecting a luminous flux received by the side wall 5 in turning to the right side and the left side to the mirror 10 is arranged on the side wall 5. Therefore, the part near the front wheel or the slanting rear side which are conventionally hard to be irradiated can be shone, so that the visibility in turning to the right side and the left side can be improved.
