PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an onion harvester for seed production, which is capable of preventing seeds from falling in a conveyor for conveying flower sphere parts, and capable of cutting stem parts of the onion at the borderlines of umbel parts. SOLUTION: The onion harvester for the seed production includes a first nipping and conveying device 2 for conveying raked crops rearward, and one or more pair of left and right second nipping and conveying devices 9 cutting the stem parts in the midway of rearward conveyance, arranged, and having endless belts 4 wound around pair of pulleys 53 and 31. A cover 60 is provided the rotary bodies 53 and 31 within the wound range of each of the endless belts 4 of the second nipping and conveying devices 9. When a side wall part 60a having a height lower than the upper end of the endless belt 4 is provided, the seeds falling from the crops onto the cover 60 can be recovered, and the invasion of the seeds to spaces between the belt and pulleys 31 can be prevented. When a pair of rotary brushes 62 and 62 rotating so that the mutually facing sides may move downward are provided below the pairs of endless belts 4 and 4, the stems can be cut at the borderlines of the umbel by pulling the crops downward.
