<p>A verified certificate and a verification certificate used for the verification out of a plurality of digital certificates each having an authentication pass are stored in a memory area for verification to verify the verified certificate. With this, only a digital certificate required for the verification can be stored in the memory area for the verification to sequentially perform the verification and to reduce the memory area for the verification without copying all the digital certificates.</p>
