A shelf cassette and a terminal box for a communication cable are provided to reduce a light loss by reducing the number of connection points. A shelf cassette main body(35) includes a plurality of sequentially arranged unit cells. At least one or more sets of shelf sets(100) are provided at the unit cells, and includes a subscriber shelf(50) to which a subscriber cable(80) is fixed, an office line shelf(60) to which an office line cable(90) is fixed, and a management shelf(70) disposed between the subscriber shelf and the office line shelf. A plurality of cable connectors(72) are provided at equal intervals at a front side of the subscriber shelf and the management shelf. An end portion of the subscriber cable is connected from a rear side toward a front side at one side of the cable connector installed at the subscriber shelf, The office line cable having a jack connected to its end portion is selectively inserted from the front side toward the rear side at the other side of the cable connector installed at the subscriber shelf and the management shelf by way of the office line shelf. |
