The device (10) has a dispensing device (60) dispensing fluid medium on rinsing goods to be cleaned and including dispensing units (62). The device (60) is designed as a spraying arm and coupled with the conveying device, so that the movement of a V-shaped element (5) of the conveying device in and/or opposite to a conveying direction (A) is transferred to the device (60) to exert a movement that has a movement component that is orthogonal to the conveying direction. The dispensing device and the dispensing units are occasionally moved in a direction transverse to the conveying direction. An independent claim is also included for a method of cleaning rinsing goods.
