A cosmetic composition comprising an extract of at least one natural material is provided to be more environment-friendly and lower-toxic than a cosmetic composition comprising chemical synthetic ingredients and improve symptoms of atopic dermatitis excellently. A cosmetic composition having anti-atopic dermatitis effect comprises 0.01-10 wt.% of an extract of at least one natural material selected from the group consisting of Metaplexis japonica leaves, green tea seeds, Astragalus membranaceus, Taraxacum platycarpum, Agaricus blazei Murill, Gynostemma pentaphyllum, Umbilicaria esculenta and Camellia japonica pericarps as an effective ingredient.
