<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining structure of a metal workpiece and a joining method thereof having less limitation in a joining location. <P>SOLUTION: Joining surfaces 1a and 2a rising to the direction to workpieces 1 and 2 as mating members are formed on at least one of a pair of the metal workpieces 1 and 2 joined with each other. An adhesive agent 4 of a chain-reacting type is disposed in a gap 3 between the workpieces 1 and 2 formed by rising in joining. The adhesive agent 4 of the chain-reacting type is successively cured by autogenously generating internal energy by energy imparted from the outside. A portion where the workpieces 1 and 2 face with each other directly (welding portion 5) is welded by a laser beam 31, and the energy for curing is imparted to the adhesive agent 4 by the laser beam 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
