<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory management apparatus which can assign data to a storage means of high access speed without restrictions on a storage area, when accessing a storage device having storage means of different access speeds. <P>SOLUTION: A storage device 100 is provided with a controller 103, a BLC flash memory 104, and an MLC flash memory 105 having access speed lower than that of the BLC flash memory 104. Furthermore, the storage device 100 stores page assignment information in which a logical page designated when writing data is associated with physical pages on the BLC flash memory 104 and the MLC flash memory 105, and when writing data in either of the flash memories 104 and 105 of different access speeds, writes data in the high-speed BLC flash memory 104 based on page assignment information corresponding to a designated logical page. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
