<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector excellent in workability of soldering contacts and cables, and a line coupling method. <P>SOLUTION: The connector (1) is provided with a housing mold (4) and a plurality of contacts (5) buried in the housing mold. Each of the plurality of contacts is provided with a contact part (5a) and a tail part (5b) protruding from the housing mold to a first direction (X direction). The tail part is provided with a first platy part (51), a second platy part (52) and a coupling part (53) extending to the first direction. The coupling part couples the first platy part and the second platy part in an L shape.
