PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating furnace having a heat reflecting plate usable at a high temperature and suppressing heat transfer along an external wall by heat conduction because a reflection factor falls greatly due to oxidation at the high temperature although a metal plate with a large reflection factor is usable as the heat reflecting plate of the heating furnace. SOLUTION: The heating furnace has the heat reflecting plate improved in the reflection factor of specific wavelength by forming, on the surface, a micro structure 1 laminated to have in-plane periodicity and lamination periodicity by controlling the grain diameter and arrangement method of ceramic grains.
