PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire allowing replacement to a light source of a type different from that in luminaire installation, and replacement of a lighting device to be easily carried out even after luminaire installation. SOLUTION: This luminaire includes: a luminaire body 1 composed by butting respective opened surfaces of a nearly-rectangular-parallelepiped-like body 10 formed of an insulating material, and having an undersurface opened against a nearly-rectangular-parallelepiped-like cover 11 formed of a translucent material, and having an upper surface opened; a coupler 2 having an electrodeless discharge lamp 2a being a light source detachably attached thereto; a lighting device 3 supplying high-frequency power for lighting the electrodeless discharge lamp 2a through the coupler 2 to an induction coil (not shown); a wiring member 6 for connecting the coupler 2 to the lighting device 3; and a terminal part 5 connected to the coupler 2 and the lighting device 3 through the wiring member 6 for connecting wires extracted and introduced from an external power source (not shown) thereto.
