摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device and a vehicle, capable of sufficiently securing braking force while suppressing increase in the capacity of electric motors and of maintaining the stop state of the vehicle without using drive torque of the electric motors even when a friction brake device is not installed. SOLUTION: The vehicle control device 100 has a configuration using both regenerative braking using regenerative operation of the electric motors (FL to RR motors 3FL-3RR) and toe braking using lateral force of wheels 2. Due to this configuration, when required maximum braking force cannot be exhibited only by the regenerative braking and braking force is insufficient, the insufficiency can be compensated by the toe braking. Thus, even when the friction brake device is not installed, sufficient braking force can be secured while the capacity of the electric motors (FL to RR motors 3FL-3RR) is reduced.
