PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio device capable of performing efficient random reproduction without increasing the storage capacity of a reproduced information storage part for storing reproduced information during random reproduction. SOLUTION: When the number of music pieces stored in a storage medium 31 is equal to a predetermined number or less, a random selection part 13 randomly selects music information other than those stored in a reproduced information storage part 27, and a music data reproduction part 15 obtains music data corresponding to the randomly selected music information from the storage medium 31.
