PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sign display object and a sign display device which perform luminous display of a sign and display of the sign by reflected light, which are excellent in design property even if they are seen from a distance and seen from near and moreover can be easily made thin and lightweight. SOLUTION: The sign display object 1 is provided with a sign display layer 10a and an external layer 20 made of translucent resin provided on both sides or one side of the sign display layer 10a, wherein the sign display layer 10a is a layer in which many foaming dots in air bubbles with diameter of 20μm or less gather are arranged by a predetermined pattern of signs.
