PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piston valve capable of reducing its size by adopting a structure capable of including a tapered part formed at an opening part inner circumferential surface of a cylinder case in a piston sliding surface and lowering a stroke area of a piston compared with a conventional piston valve and forming the cylinder case lower than the conventional piston valve, reducing a cost burden by reducing curing process area applied to the inner circumferential surface of this cylinder case and lowering the height of the whole piston valve. SOLUTION: The tapered part 17 for guiding insertion of the piston 10 is formed at the opening part of the cylinder case 14 of which inner circumferential surface is formed at the piston sliding surface 13, an annular projection part 18 is formed at an opening part collar of the cylinder case and an annular recessed part 20 is formed at an opening part collar of a yoke 15. An outer circumferential surface of the annular projection part and an inner circumferential surface of the annular recessed part are fitted with each other and a bottom surface of the annular recessed part is formed at the slide stopper surface 19 of the piston.
