PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-receiving element capable of generating a correct current signal by preventing the superposition of noise electric charges. SOLUTION: The light-receiving element has a first light-receiving region formed on a semiconductor substrate having a first conductivity type, and having at least one light-receiving portion divided into a plurality of segments and outputting a current value corresponding to incident light; a second light-receiving region formed on the semiconductor substrate, and having at least one light-receiving portion divided into a plurality of segments and outputting a current value corresponding to incident light; and a drain region formed on the semiconductor substrate, having a second conductivity type different from the first conductivity type and lying between the first light-receiving region and the second light-receiving region.
