PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent aqueous cosmetic blended with anα-lipoic acid without using any surfactant. SOLUTION: This transparent aqueous cosmetic containing theα-lipoic acid is provided by containing theα-lipoic acid, dipropylene glycol, ethanol and water. Preferably, the blending amount of theα-lipoic acid is 0.001 to 0.5 mass%, the blending amount of the dipropylene glycol is 0.4 to 10 mass% and the blending amount of the ethanol is 0.5 to 10 mass%.
