PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a white rubber foam produced by using a white filler and having excellent compression set resistance and a sealant composed of the rubber foam. SOLUTION: The rubber foam is produced by the vulcanization foaming of a rubber composition containing the following components (A), (B), (C), (D) and (E) in an amount of 50-200 pts.wt. of the component (B), 0.2-1.8 pts.wt. of the component (C), 1-3 pts.wt. of the component (D) and 1.5-5 pts.wt. of the component (E) based on 100 pts.wt. of the component (A), and further containing≤2 pts.wt. of a component (F). (A) An ethylene-α-olefin-nonconjugated diene copolymer having an ethylene unit content of 35-80 wt.%, anα-olefin unit content of 15-60 wt.% and a conjugated diene unit content of 5-20 wt.% and having a Mooney viscosity of 20-100; (B) talc; (C) a silane coupling agent; (D) a sulfur-based vulcanizing agent; (E) a foaming agent; and (F) carbon black.
