MODULE PLANETARY GEAR BOX

The invention relates to machine tool and mechanical engineering and can be used for designing gear boxes for machine tools and for automobiles substantially for vehicles mainly operating in low gears. The inventive gear box comprises three planetary modules which are connected in series and are designed according to the same diagram. Each module is in the form of a planetary overdrive transmission with two central sun wheels engaged with double satellite gears. The central wheels (1, 2; 3, 4; 5, 6) of each module are use as an input and output link, respectively. The central wheel (1) of the first module is connected to the drive shaft (7) of a gearbox and the central output wheel (6) of the last module is coupled to the driven shaft (8) thereof. The pinion carriers (9, 10, 11) of each module are provided with brakes (12, 13, 14). The input and output links of each module are interconnected by means of free-wheeling clutches (15, 16, 17), respectively. For a backward motion, the first module is provided with a central wheel (18) and a lockup disc clutch (19). The clutch (19) connects the sun wheel (2) or the crown wheel (18) of the first module to the input link (3) of the second module. A reducing transmission (26), an engine (27) and a clutch (28) are coupled to the input of the gear box. Said invention makes it possible to simplify the gearbox control and to increase the performance factor of the gearbox operating in low-gears.
