A module type fuel cell stack is provided to facilitate maintenance and repair of a fuel cell stack, and to enable a uniform distribution of surface pressure between one unit cell and another unit cell. A module type fuel cell stack(100) comprises: a plurality of unit stacks(110) including a membrane electrode assembly(114) formed by attaching a cathode(113) and an anode(112) to both sides of an electrolyte membrane(111), and a plate(115) installed on both sides of the membrane electrode assembly and functioning as a bipolar plate and inner sidewall; a collector(120) disposed on the outer surface of the outermost unit stack in the unit stacks for collecting electricity; outer sidewalls(130) supporting the unit stacks with the collector interposed therebetween in such a manner that the unit stacks have a uniform surface pressure; holes formed on the unit stacks, collectors and outer sidewalls; and binding members(150) inserted into the holes to bound the unit stacks with each other at the same time.
