A system and a method for controlling a heater in a heating furnace line are provided to prevent a fire and to precisely control the temperature of the heater by detecting the temperature of the heater using a temperature sensor. A system for controlling a heater(140) in a heating furnace line comprises a temperature sensor(220), an electronic contact relay(440), an overheat sensor(240), and relays(400,420). The temperature sensor detects the temperature of oil and is turned on when the temperature of the oil is within a predetermined range. The electronic contact relay operates an electronic contact(120) to operate the heater when the temperature sensor is turned on. The overheat sensor is turned on when the temperature of oil exceeds the predetermined range. The relays stop the operation of the heater when the overheat sensor is turned on. |
