REMOTE CONTROLLING SYSTEM AND METHOD

A system and a method for controlling a computer remotely are provided to process various kinds of jobs through remote peripheral devices based on one computer installed in a management center by transceiving data with one unused UTP(Unshielded Twisted Paired) cable among four UTP cables connecting the computers. A microprocessor(32) receives digital and switch control signals from a PS2(Personal System) keyboard/mouse through I/O(Input/Output) ports, which are connected to the PS2 keyboard/mouse, and converts the received signal into serial data signals or vice versa. A timing controller(34) converts the serial data signals and a sound I/O signal into a complex signal in a time division mode. A transceiver(35) transmits the complex signal to a database transceiver placed in a management center through one UTP cable. A sound I/O unit(33) restores the complex signal received from the management center into the serial data signal and an analog sound signal by shifting a level of the complex signal received from the management center.
