<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical insertion instrument easily and efficiently produced without any need of expensive production facilities and formed with a hydrophilic polymer layer with superior adhesion on a core material surface. <P>SOLUTION: This medical insertion instrument is provided with the core material 2 formed of metal, a primer layer 3A formed of phenol group-containing compound at least on a part of the surface of the core material 2, and the hydrophilic polymer layer 3B formed on the primer layer 3A. The phenol group-containing compound forming the primer layer 3A is a polyphenol, and especially it is preferable to be tannic acid, green tea-derived polyphenol, or urusiol-based resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
