<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter tip confirming member which permits the position of the tip of a catheter inserted into and indwelling in a body to be confirmed simply by attaching the catheter thereto and prevents pigments contained in once sucked body fluids and an indicator from flowing backward to the body. <P>SOLUTION: The catheter tip position confirming member 1 is composed of a hollow catheter connecting portion 2, a channel switching member 11 having a channel inside, an indicator holding portion 7 having a channel inside and changing the color due to the body fluids, and the connecting portion of the injection instrument or the sucking instrument having a channel inside and the channel switching member can liquid-flowably switch between the hollow portion of the hollow catheter connecting portion and the channel of the connecting portion of the injecting instrument or the sucking instrument, or between the channel of the connecting portion of the injecting instrument or the sucking instrument and the channel of the color change indicator holding portion, but cannot switch between the hollow portion of the hollow catheter connecting portion and the channel of the color change indicator holding portion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
