<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that a computer does not recognize that an exchanged component is a recommended component in the conventional computer and that it is impossible to manage and identify the lifetime (the number of use times, use hours, etc.,) of the component to determine the proper degree of consuming the component and proper components exchange time. <P>SOLUTION: When the power is turned on, antennas 4A to 4D of interface parts 3A to 3D read components information and lifetime information transmitted from RFIDs 6A to 6D of components 2A to 2D provided corresponding to them and stored in NVRAMs 7A to 7D. An identifying part 5 determines whether or not input components information coincides with recommended components information, and stops starting processing of a computer 1 if not. Further, the identifying part 5 compares the read lifetime information with a preset threshold, and when there is a component that exceeds lifetime among components 2A to 2D, the identifying part 5 stops the operation of the computer 1 to thereby be able to prevent the occurrence of a system fault due to a failure of a lifetime-exceeded component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
