PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create printed matter on which an image different from an image of the original appears when the original is copied by a copying machine. SOLUTION: When a before-copy display image 901 and an after-copy display image 902 are put one over the other, a printing controller outputs an image formed by converting; an image area 904 of both the before-copy display image 901 and after-copy display image 902 into a set of remaining dots of the same color B as the before-copy display image 901; a background area 906 of the after-copy display image 902 which is an image area of the before-copy display image 901 into a set of elimination dots of the same color B as the before-copy display image 901; an image area 905 of the after-copy display image 902 which is a background area of the before-copy display image 901 into a set of remaining dots of the same color A as the background color of the before-copy display image 901, and a background area 907 of both the before-copy display image 901 and the after-copy display image 902 into a set of elimination dots of the same color A as the background color of the before-copy display image 901.
