PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor housing for a turbocharger capable of greatly reducing or eliminating abnormal noise (high frequency noise) generated between a pre-surge line and a surge line, without providing a sound insulating material and circulation path. SOLUTION: A compressor impeller 2 includes a plurality of long blades 2a and short blades 2b arranged alternately in a circumference direction. A compressor housing 10 includes an annular groove 12 denting outward with surrounding a vicinity of a leading edge tip part of the short blades 2b and not communicating to a suction port of a compressor on an inner surface thereof.
