PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical tweezers system which allows a sample to be three-dimensionally operated and observed by only operation of a mirror without moving a lens. SOLUTION: The optical tweezers system includes a laser light source 2, a first deflecting means 4 for reflecting laser light emitted from the laser light source, a second deflecting means 6 for reflecting laser light reflected by the first deflecting means, and an objective lens 10 for making laser light reflected by the second deflecting means converge on the sample to produce an optical tweezers effect.
