PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-bacterial fluororesin composition having excellent anti-bacterial property, and an anti-bacterial member obtained from it. SOLUTION: A water-based dispersion in which a fluororesin emulsion and a colloidal solution of an anti-bacterial fine particle are mixed with each other under stirring is freezed at a temperature of 0°C or lower, alternatively an electrolyte is added to vary ion strength or pH of the mixed solution, alternatively a shearing force is applied to obtain an agglomeration. The anti-bacterial fluororesin composition is obtained by separating the agglomeration from the water-based solution and drying it. In the anti-bacterial fluororesin composition, anti-microbial activity value (log(B/C)), i.e., a ratio of an average value (B) viable cell count of the fluororesin composition not containing the anti-bacterial fine particle and an average value (C) of viable cell count of the anti-bacterial fluororesin composition containing the anti-bacterial fine particle is 2.0 or higher.
