The plant has a rotor (10) supported in a housing (6). Rotor blades (14) of the rotor are adjustable by a rotor blade adjustment drive that is supplyable with energy by a storage battery (18) in case of a power failure. The storage battery is arranged in a region of a rotor hub (12) and is cooled by a cooling device (28) e.g. heat exchanger, so that a storage battery temperature is held in an uncritical operating range. The cooling device has an air duct with cooling fins for the extension of a heat exchange surface.
