<p>A clearance adjusting deceleration and a motor driven power steering apparatus are provided to easily mesh a worm and a worm wheel gear by rotating a rotating housing on a first worm wheel housing cap and a second worm wheel housing cap. A clearance adjusting deceleration comprises a rotating housing(325) including a worm/motor housing(320) and a worm wheel housing(310), a first worm wheel housing cap(330), a second worm wheel housing cap and one or more coupling members(370,380). The rotating housing rotates on a rotation central shaft(350) of the worm wheel housing. The first worm wheel housing cap has a first body(334) including a first cap tooth(335), a first insertion hole(333) integrally formed with the first cap tooth, and a first assembling hole(331). A worm wheel central shaft(360) passing through the first insertion hole is spaced apart from the rotation central shaft. The second worm wheel housing cap has a second body(344) including a second cap tooth(345), a second insertion hole integrally formed with the second cap tooth, and a second assembling hole(341). The worm wheel central shaft passing through the second insertion hole is spaced apart from the rotation central shaft. The coupling member passes through the first assembling hole and the second assembling hole.</p> |
