Methods are disclosed for separating and detecting bazedoxifene acetate f rom pharmaceutical compositions containing a mixture of bazedoxifene acetate and one or more other components that produce X-Ray diffraction patterns ha ving interfering peaks at or near the characteristic peaks for bazedoxifene acetate.
