<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circular arc slide device capable of attaining high accuracy and cost reduction. <P>SOLUTION: The circular arc slide device has a lower plate 10; an upper plate 20; and a circular arc track 30 provided between the lower plate and the upper plate. A guide rail part is provided on an upper surface of the lower plate and a lower surface of the upper plate, and a circular curve-like guide groove 31 constituting the circular arc track is provided on an opposed flat surface of the guide rail part. A cross section of the guide groove forms a circular arc shape, and a plurality of balls are rollably fitted between the opposed guide grooves in the state that pre-load is given. The lower plate and the upper plate are integrally machined from a plate-like material to the shape having the guide rail part and the guide groove, and inner surfaces of the respective guide grooves are constituted by a machined surface by an end mill. Depth of the guide groove is set to a dimension of 0.146 times or lower of a diameter of the ball machinable by a semi-spherical blade part of a distal end of the end mill in which a rotation shaft is obliquely set. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
